Healing Aqal

Pioneered by Ifrah Mansour, the Healing Aqal is a living revival of the pre-colonial Somali nomadic dwelling — hand-woven collaboratively with community members using locally harvested materials. Built and rebuilt across Minnesota, it is both an artistic legacy and a cultural homecoming.
